Do I need an attorney?

If you are willing to follow our instructions and put in the time required to keep up with it, figuring out the expungement process can be tough, but is not impossible. We have done our best to try to make the process as easy as possible. However, some states literally state that an attorney is recommended. Furthermore, failing to follow instructions means you could end up having to pay the fees and costs all over again. However, remember, if you qualify, we give you all the forms the government gives for free and we have done our best to provide every single step as simply as possible.

However, we also have other packages. You can purchase attorney drafted documents, filled out with the information you provide, for only $99. If you want to have an attorney or an attorney-supervised staff member review your documents and do the mailing for you, that is our Expeal package. It is important to note that you are not hiring a law firm with Expeal, so if you have a hearing, you have to go to it on your own. But we will give you our tips and tricks. If you want an attorney, we also offer the chance to hire one for a flat fee at a price lower than anything out there.
