When is my criminal history record sealed or expunged?

A criminal history record is sealed or expunged only once an order is issued by a court of competent jurisdiction and a certified copy of that order is received by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). Once the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) receives that order, they will comply with it in accordance with the laws of the state of Florida.
